Welcome to our newly revamped OVA website!

Dear Victorians,

The first thing I want to do is recognise Duncan Woodward’s role in bringing us to this stage & to thank him for the huge amount of work that he has put into this.
Many of you know that the OVA Website has somewhat languished in recent years & has been somewhat moribund. There is much more that we wish to do through the website & you can expect to see its coverage & functionality develop & increase going forward. In the meantime please keep in mind that the website will continue to be work in progress.
We look forward to receiving your feedback, comments, questions, thoughts & advice. Most of all we hope for your support, which in turn will allow us to support current, & future, students at the school. 

There are a few items that I would like to draw your attention to as you navigate your way through the website:

You will find (Resources/ Archives) a remarkable collection of digitised copies of “The Victorian” school magazine. Thanks to the efforts of Gordon Slater, very much supported by Caitlin Pitman (Cunningham House Matron) & OV’s Jonny Sutherland & Duncan McDonald we now have 115 digital copies of the first 137 Victorian magazines with another 22 copies in the pipeline for processing after Grand Day. Thanks are due to this group for their dedication & focus in achieving this. Happy scrolling, All!

You will also see that we have a shop for merchandise, which can be purchased through the website. We have every intention of expanding the range of products here & will welcome your suggestions of items to be added. 

 Can I also draw your attention to the “hand holding two hearts” symbol either at the bottom, &/ or top right, of the website pages. Clicking on this symbol will open our avenue for providing additional funding (contributions) to the OVA for direct support of students involved in school activities. At the moment we have limited funding options & this channel opens up the opportunity to significantly expand our financial resource. 

All this & much more is to be found as you explore the re-energised website. Please remember to give us your feedback, questions & comments, which allow us to continue to develop the site to best suit your requirements.
